    • Duplicating items

Have a player open a dispenser and place the item you wish to duplicate in it, leaving the dispenser menu open. Then, have a second player destroy the dispenser. The first player's menu should still be open, and the item will be split into 64 pieces. Place these items one by one by pressing X. Note: Transferring by pressing Y may cause the items to disappear. Additionally, this glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game. You can delete all patches for the game by using the "Clear hard drive cache" code for the Xbox 360.

    • Clear hard drive cache

Turn on the Xbox 360 while holding A to remove old cache files from the hard drive. Note: Your saved games and media will stay intact; however, downloaded game updates will be deleted. They can be restored by playing the game again while Xbox Live is enabled.

Alternately, if your system had the Spring 2006 patch installed, enter the "System" menu at the Xbox 360 Dashboard, and select the "Memory" option. Highlight the hard drive, then press Y. The "Device Options" screen for the hard drive will appear, with "Rename" and "Format" options. Press X(2), LB(2), X(2) to clear the cache.

    • Hard drive maintenance

At the Xbox 360 Dashboard, enter the "System" menu, and select the "Memory" option. Press Y for device options, then press either LB, RB, X(2), LB(2), X(2) or X(2), LB, RB, X(2), LB, RB. You will get a confirmation screen asking if you would like to have maintenance done on your hard drive; press A to confirm. This will not erase anything on your hard drive.

    • Secret Avatar hair colors (NXE Dashboard)

At the Xbox 360 Dashboard, select "My Xbox", "Customize Avatar", then "Change My Features". Wait approximately one minute until the "Hairstyles" square spins. Then, select the "Hairstyles" square, and your hair will turn pink. Select a hairstyle, and you can then choose colors such as red, pink, blue, and green as well as the normal colors. Note: Once the extra colors are unlocked, they will remain accessible without repeating the code.

    • Secret Avatar tricks and expressions (NXE Dashboard)

The following actions can be done while at the "Avatar Customize" screen:

Press LB: Have Avatar do a random expression: depressed, apologetic, surprised, laughing, or angry. Press RB: Open Avatar's mouth. Hold LT or RT: Spin Avatar making it lose its balance. Move Right Analog-stick: Rotate Avatar's head. Move Right Analog-stick Left, Right, Left, Right: Make Avatar angry. Move Right Analog-stick Up, Down, Up, Down: Make Avatar happy. Rotate Right Analog-stick in a circle: Make Avatar dizzy. Click Right Analog-stick: Make Avatar burp. Click and hold Right Analog-stick, then move Right Analog-stick: Make Avatar burp continuously in various pitches. Move Right Analog-stick Up then Down: Make Avatar hit its head on the screen, making it dizzy.

    • Preventing hard drive and game corruption

Use the following steps to prevent your games and hard drive from becoming corrupted. At the Xbox 360 Dashboard, enter the "System" menu, and select the "Memory" option. Select your hard drive or memory card, then select the "Games" option. Go to the game that may be giving you trouble. Scroll through the game's saved data. If you see a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside it along with the word "Corrupted", select it. Once it comes up, select "Delete". You will be prompted with a "Are you sure you want to delete this file?" message. Press A to confirm. This should fix any problems you may have had with that game, and will also prevent data for other games from becoming corrupted.

    • Music in Xbox games

In backwards compatible games, music can be played. Before playing the game, while still on the Dashboard, go to "Music". Select the music you want to play and put it on shuffle or continuous play. Then, load the Xbox game. Even though the guide cannot be opened, the music will still play. This works best with an iPod.

    • Custom background with PSP

Note: Your PSP must have photos on it. Plug your PSP into the USB ports on the bottom of the system. On the PSP, select the "USB Connection" option. On the Xbox 360, go to the "Media" slide and choose "Pictures". Then, select the "Portable" option. Go into the PSP file and the photos file. Any photos on your PSP should appear here. Once you find the picture you want to be your background, press X. If done correctly, the background on all slides should appear to have the picture on it.

    • Use background from PC

If you have a Media Center PC, connect it to the Xbox 360. Then, go to the picture files on the computer using the Xbox 360. Any picture can be used as a background by pressing X.

    • Control Media Center PC applications

The Xbox 360 media center remote can be use to control Media Center PCs. While someone has an application such as Word, Notepad, or Explorer open, press Up, Down, Left, or Right on the remote. Whatever they are doing will either scroll or move in that direction.

    • Original Xbox game controls

When playing an original Xbox game, press LB instead of White and RB instead of Black

  • Duplicating items

Have a player open a dispenser and place the item you wish to duplicate in it, leaving the dispenser menu open. Then, have a second player destroy the dispenser. Additionally, this glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game. You can delete all patches for the game by using the "Clear hard drive cache" code for the Xbox 360.

  • Becoming invisible

Wait until night, then place a boat next to a bed. Get in the boat, then get in the bed while in the boat. If done correctly, you should be underground. Have someone destroy the bed, and you will float. While in this form, you can kill but cannot pick items up or use them. If you drop an item, you will lose it by the floating corpse. Note: This glitch was done on an unpatched version of the game. You can delete all patches for the game by using the "Clear hard drive cache" code for the xbox 3360.
